Parents and Friends,
I have begun discussions with representatives from Education Queensland and Creche and Kindergarten Association Queensland (C&K) about the Kindergarten which is to be constructed on our school grounds in 2010 and to be operational in 2011.
This is very exciting and will be a great opportunity for children in the year before Prep to access 15 hours per week of instruction and preparedness for school.
The C&K Association is now taking enrolments on a waiting list for children to be enrolled according to the information below.

Children will be enrolled on a first come basis so it is advisable to act early.

On Tuesday evening we held our annual Arts Evening and it was another event which brought great credit to the performances and our school.
Thanks to the commitment of students, parents and school staff our Arts program continues to grow in strength. Children gain confidence through public performances and many of our students have been involved in these lately.
It’s always a pleasure to attend these evenings. Well done to all performers and many thanks to attending staff who gave their time to make this occasion a memorable one.

Term Dates Last day Term 4 – Friday, 11 December - First day of 2010 – Wednesday, 27 January 2010 I am currently compiling the classes for 2010 and would like to remind parents that, if you know you are moving out of the area before the beginning of the school year on 27 January, 2010, it is helpful to me to know about this so that I do not allocate your child to a class. |
